Streem appointed BCA Capital Partners to run a confidential sale process. The process resulted in offers from multiple offshore parties, with the ultimately successful acquirer being Chicago-based Cision which is owned by Los Angeles-based US private equity firm Platinum Equity Partners. The transaction provides an established entry point for Cision in to the Australian media monitoring market and access to Streem’s industry leading technology which can be exported globally. The transaction achieved the objectives of Streem’s shareholders.

Steamatic appointed BCA Capital Partners to provide M&A advice in relation to the potential sale to ASX-listed Johns Lyng Group. Johns Lyng Group is an integrated building services group delivering building and restoration services across Australia and internationally. BCA Capital Partners was engaged to solicit a proposal from Johns Lyng Group, negotiate the transaction, and work with the vendor to execute the transaction. The transaction structure was complex and the consideration included a combination of cash, shares, earnout consideration and put & call options. The ultimate transaction exceeded the expectations of the vendor.
